Last year, I signed up to participate in monthly webinars from the estate of Zig Ziglar. For those of you who haven’t heard of him, he was an author, motivational speaker and leadership guru for several decades before passing away in 2012. You may have seen or heard several of his famous quotes related to motivation, leadership and general life lessons.
When I first became a supervisor, I had the opportunity to attend one of his seminars and I was blown away by his insight, humor and integrity. I truly felt as if he was speaking directly to me and sharing his words of wisdom for how to improve myself and work positively with others. I’d like to take the opportunity to shine a spotlight on Zig and highlight what I feel are his “Top 10” nuggets of knowledge that have stayed with me during the last 20 years.
